Experts, teachers, technicians, students and other professionals, national and foreign, are invited to participate. Areas of interest include risk analysis and disaster impact assessment through the conceptualization of risk, the forecasting, prevention and mitigation of the consequences of disasters, case studies of events, and the different fields of communication and education, with a view to exercising active citizenship in risk reduction:

  1. Researchers from higher education institutions;
  2. Civil protection agents (firefighters, security forces, armed forces, health care providers, …), technicians and professionals from various public and private organizations related to risk assessment, disaster management, education and communication;
  3. PhD, Master’s and undergraduate students whose work is the result of academic and scientific research in the field of risks and disasters.
  4. Members of the public, associations and/or non-governmental organizations, interested or involved in the subject of disaster risk reduction;
